Follow-up for Toronto community forum: Is bottled water safe?

The Polaris Institute sponsored, in collaboration with the Scadding Court Community Centre, Environmental Defence, CUPE local 79 , Social Justice Committee of Bloor Street United Church and KAIROS Toronto, a community forum entittled 'Is bottled water safe?' September 22nd in Toronto Ontario.

Thank you to all of you who made this event such a success! Organizers and participants had some great discussion and brainstorming during the workshops on possible action items and the set-up of a Toronto Community Water Committee that can begin to move these initiatives forward.

Andrea Harden, Polaris Institute bottled water campaigner working on municipal and student campaigns is following up with community organizers in the wake of the forums we have been sponsoring in collaboration with a number of groups and organizations across Ontario. Andi is here to help support these efforts with research, campaign tools and experience working on water issues at a community level.
